Crash on busy Mississauga highway shuts down two lanes

A collision on a busy Mississauga highway early Thursday evening (Sept. 19) has resulted in injuries.

The collision occurred on the eastbound lanes of Highway 403, east of Cawthra Road shortly after 6 p.m.

“Injuries have been reported,” says OPP Highway Safety Division.

The right two lanes of Highway 403 were closed for some time while emergency workers cleaned up the crash. They were both re-opened at approximately 6:45 p.m.

Mississauga OPP are investigating the collision.
