A seafood restaurant and market appears to have closed in Square One in Mississauga.
Pier 87 Fish Market and Grill was shuttered in the Food District on March 12 and workers appeared to be clearing out the location.
Attempts to reach the restaurant by phone and email were not returned. It’s unclear if Pier 87 is moving to another location, renovating or closing permanently.
For now, it is not possible to order food online or in person.
Square One has Pier 87 Fish Market and Grill listed as closed but on Google Maps it is listed as open.
The restaurant is fairly new.
They opened the first location at Upper Canada Mall in Newmarket in the spring of 2018. The Square One location opened on April 1, 2019. The Newmarket location is marked as permanently closed and is no longer listed on the Pier 87 website.
The market had a selection of frozen seafood. The restaurant featured a selection of seafood dishes such as fish and chips, a lobster roll, shucked oysters and a wild salmon burger.
