CLOSURE: Chicken restaurant chain closes after leasing issues in Mississauga

Chicken N Dough has closed its Mississauga location on Dundas St. E due to lease issues with the landlord.

The fast-casual chicken restaurant, which has earned a reputation for some of the best wings and fries in the city, made the decision this week to close up shop and look for new premises elsewhere in Mississauga.

The company, which also has locations in Toronto, Ajax and Richmond Hill, said lease issues and “not being able to offer the entire Chicken N Dough experience” to its customers was at the heart of the decision to look for a new location.

The menu featured chicken wings with a huge variety of classic and unique flavours, from honey mustard, and Cajun ranch to butter chicken and garlic parmesan, as well as the extra spicy ‘Chicken on Fire’ and the ‘Bloody Mary,’ with extra hot green chillies.

Chicken N Dough also has pizza with a variety of toppings, and sides including fries, Cajun fries, onion rings, cheesy garlic bread and multiple poutine options including wings poutine, pizza poutine and shawarma poutine.
