Construction crews will block off two lanes of a busy Brampton roadway on Friday evening for repairs.
The temporary closure will see Dixie Road closed down to just one southbound lane north of Lisa Street.
The Region of Peel says the construction is expected to begin at 6 p.m. on Friday with crews working overnight until at least 9 a.m. on Saturday.
“Plan an alternate route or drive safely near this work zone,” Peel Public Works said in a statement.
The region says the closed lanes will allow for storm repairs and are expected to reopen on Saturday.
