Repair work is underway at Brampton’s Bramalea bus terminal that will cause the station to close for some six months.

The terminal closure started on Tuesday (June 20) with Brampton Transit closing the station for necessary repairs that are expected to last most of the year.

The work includes the replacement of concrete platforms, driveway, and the relocation of catch basins.

Riders will still be able to catch their buses at temporary bus stops during the construction project.

The Brampton Transit customer service counters and washrooms inside the terminal will remain open during construction, but customers are being asked to avoid the designated construction areas at all times and follow posted signage and direction from staff.

Customer service staff will be available inside the terminal if you need assistance or you can call 905-874-2999 or follow @bramptontransit on Twitter for more updates.
