City of Brampton to host overnight fundraiser

The City of Brampton has recently announced that they will be participating in United Way’s Longest Night fundraiser.

In support of this fundraiser, City of Brampton staff and Members of Council will be sleeping in their vehicles overnight to raise awareness and encourage compassion for those who are less fortunate in the community.
The fundraiser will take place on Friday, February 21 at 9:00 p.m. to Saturday, February 22 at 6:00 a.m. at Garden Square, located at 1 Theatre Lane.
To kick off the event, United Way CAO and President, Daniele Zanotti, City of Brampton Mayor Patrick Brown, Regional Councillor Martin Medeiros and City Councillor Charmaine Williams, will provide remarks at 9:30 pm.
