Drivers were warned to mooove over as livestock was on the lam in an Ontario town.
Cattle and sheep were spotted in downtown Kemptville, OPP said in a post on X just before 8 a.m. on Friday. Kemptville is a small town in a rural area about 55 kilometres south of Ottawa.
“Baaad boys baaad boys!” police wrote on X.
Police said they were trying to keep the barnyard crew away from the roads.
They asked people to drive with caution in the area until large, wayward animals were contained.
Animal control was notified to assist police.
But a short time later, the owner was located and on the way to round up their critters, police said.
