UPDATE: Pearson Airport officials said just before 3 p.m. on Wednesday that the incident at Terminal 3 has been cleared and “normal traffic flow has resumed.”

Peel Regional Police and paramedics were called to Pearson Airport in Mississauga early Wednesday afternoon after a vehicle that was dropping off travellers jumped a curb at Terminal 3.

Pearson Airport officials said in a post to social media that no injuries were reported as a result of the incident, which took place on the departures level of the terminal.

However, traffic into the airport has been impacted.

“Police and paramedics are on scene, but no injuries have been reported and there is little to no operational impact inside the terminal,” airport officials said in a post to X (formerly Twitter). “Airport staff are working to keep curbside traffic flowing, but there may be inbound delays; passengers might consider being dropped off at Viscount Station and taking the terminal train.”
