Car engulfed in flames after a crash in Mississauga

A car burst into flames after a crash in Mississauga during the morning commute.
Emergency crews were called to the crash, reportedly involving several vehicles, on Britannia Road at Latimer Drive around 8:15 a.m. today (Nov. 23).
One car was fully engulfed in flames, but Mississauga Fire and Emergency Services crews quickly doused the fire.
Peel Paramedics were assessing patients at the scene, but at this point it appears there were no life-threatening injuries reported, Peel Regional Police tell insauga.com.
The westbound lanes of Britannia Road were closed for clean-up and investigation.
As of 9 a.m., police said the roadway was about to reopen.
