Car crashes down staircase in hit-and-run outside Square One in Mississauga

A car crashed down a staircase outside of Square One in Mississauga over the weekend in a hit-and-run collision, police say.
Peel Regional Police told INsauga.com that officers responded to Duke of York Boulevard and Prince of Wales Drive at around 12:15 p.m. on Saturday for reports of a two-vehicle crash.
“It appears that one of the vehicles left the scene prior to police arrival,” police said, confirming the incident was a hit-and-run.
Images from the scene appear to show that the other vehicle — a dark-coloured sedan — crashed down a staircase heading to the parking lot outside of Square One.
No injuries were reported in the incident.
Police said an investigation is ongoing and asked that anyone with information come forward.
