If you have tickets for WinterFest, an ongoing “winter wonderland” holiday festival at Canada’s Wonderland, you won’t be able to use them today.
Canada’s Wonderland recently announced that it’s closing the amusement park today (Dec. 23) due to the ongoing winter storm that’s pummelling the GTA and Southern Ontario.
UPDATE: The park will be closed Friday, Dec. 23 due to inclement weather. Admission tickets for this date will be valid for any other WinterFest operating date. Our event returns Dec. 26 and runs until Dec. 31 from 3 to 9pm daily. Stay safe and we hope to see you then! pic.twitter.com/TIpkqtzzbk

“The park will be closed Friday, Dec. 23 due to inclement weather,” the park announced on Twitter, adding that tickets for today will be valid for any other WinterFest operating date.
WinterFest, which kicked off on Nov. 18 and runs until Dec. 31, is an “immersive holiday experience” that features ice skating, live entertainment, millions of lights, hundreds of Christmas trees (including two that measure 50 feet), themed areas, food and more.
According to Wonderland, the event will re-open on Dec. 26 and run until the end of the year.
The festival is open from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm daily.
“Stay safe and we hope to see you then!” the park said on Twitter.
