Canada’s largest Tesla service centre opens in Hamilton mall

Canada’s largest Tesla service centre is officially open at a Hamilton mall.

The massive 60,000 square foot facility at Hamilton’s Lime Ridge Mall is officially open, making it the largest service centre for the electric vehicle manufacturer in the country.

Combining a showroom with a service area and delivery hub, the new facility is in the former Home Outfitters and Bay Home store location.

The showroom entrance is located inside the mall while the service centre can be accessed by an entrance on the outside for customers to drop off their vehicles.

Models on display in the showroom include the Model S, Model 3, Model Y, and even the new Cybertruck, according to Drive Tesla Canada.

Cybertruck test drives are reportedly not yet available at the new location.

There’s also a Tesla Supercharger station with 20 chargers, but those could be removed to make way for a new transit terminal, according to reports.

Tesla said in 2023 that the new centre would employ 50 people and operate Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., and on Sundays from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
