Busy road near Pearson Airport in Mississauga blocked after gas line struck

A busy road near Pearson Airport in Mississauga is blocked off to traffic after a gas line was struck this morning (May 11).
Peel Regional Police say an Enbridge Gas crew struck the gas line while working in the Airport Rd. and Thamesgate Dr. area of Mississauga just before 8:30 a.m.
No injuries were reported, but the incident has blocked northbound Airport Rd. to traffic at Derry Rd. and the southbound Airport Rd. lanes are blocked from Steeles Ave.
Mississauga firefighters are also on the scene.
