Firefighters battled a huge blaze at a commercial building in Brampton over the weekend.
Brampton Fire and Emergency Services (BFES) say crews were called to a fire in the area of Hallstone Rd. and Mississauga Rd. in Brampton early on Sunday.
Photos from the scene show a large commercial building engulfed in flames with a large plume of smoke as firefighters worked to get the blaze under control.
No injuries were reported in the massive fire and roads in the area were closed for hours while crews were on the scene.
Earlier in the weekend, a woman died following a two-alarm fire in Brampton.
Crews were called to a home on Jade Crescent in the area of Torbram Rd. and Williams Parkway around 11:00 p.m. on Friday.
When firefighters arrived there was one patient outside and two trapped inside the house. One adult male and one child were transported to hospital in life-threatening condition.
