Brian Crombie, the ex-husband of Mississauga Mayor Bonnie Crombie, will be running in the upcoming provincial election for a relatively new party.
A well-known Mississauga activist and radio personality, Crombie will run for the None of the Above Party (NOTA) in the riding of Mississauga-South in the June 2 election.
Crombie confirmed the information today on his Twitter feed.
A financial expert and a long-time advocate for several Mississauga-based organizations, Crombie can also be regularly heard as host of his own program on Sauga 960 AM.
The Crombies have been divorced since 2020.
The NOTA Party runs on the platform of what it calls the 3Rs of direct democracy of referendum, recall and reforms meant to give voters control of politicians and parties during and in between elections.
