Summer is within reach, and with high temperatures this weekend, it’s even more exciting to know that a brand new waterpark is set to open at the end of June!
Formerly Wild Water Kingdom, Wet’n’Wild is set to open on June 24 with over $25 million in renovations to the old park.
Basically, they’ve revamped everything.
The new park has a tropical theme, aiming to give visitors a resort-like atmosphere, and boasts six new attractions.
To name a few, Krazy Kanuck boasts two adventure slides, one of which leaves riders hanging in zero gravity, Oh Canada! drops riders down a near-vertical chute, and Hurricane and Typhoon may be Canada’s largest wide-open bowl water slide.
Though the grand opening may be a few weeks away, season pass holders can get a sneak peek this weekend, on June 10 and 11.
Season passes are priced at $74.95 and can be purchased here.
