Mayor Bonnie Crombie cut the ribbon for the grand opening of a new authentic Nigerian restaurant in Mississauga today.
Fooddelicio Restaurant and Grill, located at 6155 Tomken Rd near Britannia Rd E, celebrated their first day with a 5 per cent off discount for all menu items.
On their Facebook page, it says Fooddelicio “prepares fresh, tasty and lush customized homemade Nigerian Dishes.” The restaurant offers dine-in, takeout and delivery options.
Popular menu items include Suya style chicken wings, smoky jollof rice with whole grilled fish, and egusi soup served with poundo yam.
“This #SmallBiz has partnered with the @Food_Bank and a local shelter to support vulnerable community members,” Crombie said in a tweet today.
