It’s true that Garden Square hosts an epic series of movies over the course of the summer every year. Now, a new series of movie nights is set to hit the city that many residents might love.
Alongside Saturday movie nights in the Square, this summer, Garden Square will play Bollywood films every Thursday night at 7 p.m., from July 5-August 30.
This is in partnership with the International Film Festival of South Asia (IFFSA)
So, if you love Bollywood movies, or you just want to catch this series of unique nights in the Square, grab your lawn chair and gear up for Thursday nights.

July 5 – Munnabhai MBBS
Munna is a criminal who sets out to fulfill his father’s dream of becoming a doctor. With help from his sidekick Circuit, he enrolls himself in medical college and drives Dr Asthana up the wall.

A hilarious underworld gangster known as Munna Bhai falls in love with a radio host who runs an elders’ home, which is taken over by an unscrupulous builder. Munna, who is now masquerading as a Professor specializing in the life of Mahatma Gandhi, must now battle his very own forces and the builder – but he has one ally on his side – none other than the great man – Mahatma Gandhi himself. Only trouble is that Munna may have problems convincing everyone about this presence – as he is apparently is the only one who can see and hear him.
