If you are or have a kid who loves candy, Halloween is coming twice this year!
The Downtown Brampton BIA is hosting a free trick-or-treating event all across downtown Brampton on Saturday, October 28, 2017, from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. The festive event is set to take place during the Harvest Market, starting in Vivian Lane.
According to the BIA, more than 30 businesses will be doling out candy to trick-or-treaters on this pre-Halloween event, so it’s going to be huge, and there’s going to be a lot of candy. Businesses are encouraged to dress up, and this is a good chance to show off your costume a few days early, or come up with another costume.
The BIA will be handing out maps of the event to know which businesses are participating in Vivian Lane.
So far, we know that participating businesses include the up-and-coming DasBrezelHaus in McArter Lane and the ever-popular Dolcezza Cakes on Main Street.Vivian Lane will be taken over with free treat bag decorating stations for kids, as well, so there’s a lot going on.
The entire event is free – that’s right, lots and lots of free candy.
It all starts in Vivian Lane with a treat bag decorating station, and you can pick up a map for your treat route. You can also take a free photo with PhotoboothTO in Vivian Lane complete with party props to remember your fun morning.
This event runs alogside not only the Harvest Market, but the FOLD’s Halloween Hustle costume run that spans five kilometres.
And, afterwards, be sure to check out the PAMA Kids Halloween Spooktacular, complete with storytelling and shadow puppetry, plus a Halloween scavenger hunt from 1-4 p.m.!
There’s clearly a lot going on in Brampton tomorrow morning.
