A truck driver from Brampton is still deciding how to spend his prize after his $75,000 lottery win.
Jagpreet Singh from Brampton says he’s a regular lottery player, often buying Instant games and Lotto Max tickets.
The 36-year-old says he’s been a long-time player of the Instant Casino Cash game and just had his first big win with a top prize of $75,000.
“In that moment, I was in shock,” he said while picking up his winnings at the OLG prize centre in Toronto. “I checked my ticket a few times before validating it.”
The truck driver from Brampton hasn’t made any major plans on how to spend his winnings just yet, but said he’s excited for the possibilities.
“I’ll take some time to consider how to best enjoy this win,” he said.
Instant Cash Casino is available for $3 and the top prize is $75,000. OLG says it supports safe play and responsible gambling through its PlaySmart program.
The winning ticket was purchased at Sobeys on North Park Dr. in Brampton.
