A Brampton native is signed to Inter Miami CF, a professional American soccer club founded by former English professional soccer player David Beckham.

Shaan Hundal was born and raised in Brampton and plays centre-forward.

He was previously a member of Inter Miami CF II, the club’s Major League Soccer (MLS) Next Pro team.

Hundal joined the Next Pro team in 2021 and led the team for goals with 11 that season.

He has been playing soccer since he was very young, joining the Caledon Soccer Club at just 6-years-old.

Hundal was 14-years old when he made his debut in the Canadian youth program at an identification camp in 2013. He then went on to represent Canada in 2017 at the CONCACAF Men’s Under-20 Championship in San José, Costa Rica.

Hundal will be ready to play tonight for Inter Miami CF’s MLS match against Orlando City SC at 8 p.m. ET at Exploria Stadium in Orlando.
