Brampton school under lockdown due to reports of male shooting at wall

Police are responding to a weapons call in Brampton this afternoon (June 13).

Shortly before noon, police received reports of a male shooting at a wall in the area of Elbern Markell Dr and Bovaird Dr, near Mississauga Rd.

Jean Augustine Secondary School has been placed under lockdown as a precaution.

No injuries have been reported at this time.

UPDATE: The lockdown has been lifted. There was no evidence of gun fire in the area. Police are looking looking for a male.
