Get ready to ring in the new year in Brampton with Toronto rockers The Beaches and a dazzling fireworks display.

The City of Brampton is gearing up for its annual New Year’s Eve celebrations in Garden Square, and this year’s event is sure to impress with musical performances, a light show and fireworks.

Toronto-based rockers The Beaches will headline the evening with their electrifying modern rock sound. The Juno award winners have become one of Canada’s top acts, with singles like “T-Shirt,” “Grow Up Tomorrow” and ‘Blow Up” getting regular play on rock radio.

Warming up the crowd will be alt-rockers and campus cover band turned indie-rock-outfit Jane’s Party, and the nostalgic and global song selections of DJ Roshanie.

City Hall will be lit up with the Night Lights Projection Exhibit, projecting animations and artwork by ten local artists into the night sky facing Wellington St. West.

The night will wrap up with a 10-minute fireworks display at midnight to officially ring in 2023.
