Brampton murder suspect wanted on Canada-wide warrant

The hunt is on for the accused murderer wanted on a warrant for the shooting death of a man in Brampton.

Peel Regional Police say shots were fired on May 11 shortly after 4:15 p.m. in the area of Kennedy Road and Stafford Drive.

A 40-year-old victim identified by police as 40-year-old Dayne Gordon from Toronto was found at the intersection suffering from gunshot wounds.

Gordon was rushed to hospital but later died of his injuries, police said.

Now police have issued a Canada-wide warrant for the alleged killer and are asking anyone with information on the shooting to come forward.

Winardo Winteria Morris, 40, of no fixed address is wanted by Peel police for one count of first-degree murder.

Morris is described as a Black male standing approximately 5’7” with a medium build, short black hair and a piercing in his left ear.

Police say anyone who spots Morris should not approach the suspect and call 9-1-1 immediately.
