A man from Brampton is up on charges after allegedly assaulting a parking enforcement officer in a Toronto parking lot.

Toronto Police Service got a call at 6:15 p.m. on August 25, 2022 about an incident at  Ordnance St and Strachan Ave on the edge of King West Village just north of the Gardiner Expy.

When investigators arrived the surmised the officer found a car parked illegally. The driver apparently refused to move when asked.

As a result the attendant wrote up a ticket and gave it to the driver. Police allege at this point the driver became “combative” and assaulted the officer.

When police arrived they arrested Christopher Hall, 39 of Brampton, for assault. He will appear in courtroom at Old City Hall on October 10.

Anyone with information about the investigation can call Toronto Police 416-808-6600 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 416-222-TIPS (8477).
