Brampton man charged for stunt-driving after hitting 185 km/h

It will be an especially costly trip on Hwy. 407 for a Brampton man who was caught by Ontario Provincial Police going nearly the double the speed limit on Tuesday afternoon.
The OPP say the 29-year-old driver was pulled over after his car was allegedly clocked going 185 km/h on Hwy. 407, a toll highway, near Dixie Road.

Under the provincial Highway Traffic act, the man had his licence automatically suspended for seven days and his vehicle impounded. He could also receive a fine up to $10,000.
