Brampton man accused of double homicide after St. Catharines woman’s death

A 40-year-old woman has died following a shooting in St. Catharines over the weekend (June 10), that left one man dead.
Niagara Regional Police have confirmed that the female victim succumbed to her injuries earlier today (June 15), while receiving treatment at a local hospital.
46-year-old Donovan Williams from Brampton, who was initially facing charges related to the shooting, is now being charged with two counts of first-degree murder in light of the woman’s death. Additionally, he is facing charges of failing to comply with certain regulations.
Donovan remains in custody and is scheduled to appear on June 16 at the Robert S.K. Welch Courthouse in St. Catharines in relation to the new charge.
At the request of family, police will not be releasing the identity of both victims involved in this tragedy.
