Brampton gas station robbed at gunpoint, police remain on scene

Peel Regional Police in Brampton is investigating following an overnight robbery at a gas station.
Shortly before 5 a.m. on Tuesday (March 29), police said they were called to the gas station at Kennedy Road N and Wexford Road to reports of an armed robbery.
It’s alleged that a man wearing a mask and dark clothing entered the store and pointed a gun at an employee.
No one was injured and the suspect fled the scene and was last seen running northbound on Kennedy Road.
Police said they will remain in the area for the time being as the incident remains under investigation.
