A perfect match playing Poker Lotto has made a Brampton father of two $100,000 richer.
Richard Fraser purchased a ticket at Vani’s Convenience on Mountainash Road in Brampton and was dealt a winning hand in the Jan. 29 2022 Poker Lotto draw.
Fraser matched five of five cards to win $100,000 and was shocked when finding out he was a winner, at first thinking he’d won $500.
“I checked my ticket on the OLG App and that’s when I saw it was actually $100,000,” Fraser said. “I had to scan it again because I was in disbelief.”
Fraser said family and friends are happy about the win and said cashing in the $100,000 ticket “feels like a dream.”
