A Brampton dentist has returned to work after being arrested in connection with an indecent exposure incident in the U.S.

According to Lake Worth police, 57-year-old Brampton man Ron Rohringer was arrested in early March after he reportedly exposed himself “and performed other vulgar acts” in front of female high school students in Lake Worth-area schools.

Police report that arrest warrants were issued and Rohringer was apprehended by Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office detectives in Miami.

On Feb. 16, two teens told PBC School police that an unknown male in an SUV stopped them on school property and asked for directions to the I-95 highway. The teens told police that they observed him masturbating as they attempted to give him directions.

On Feb. 22, a near identical incident occurred, only the male in question asked for directions to Walgreens.

Police say that an investigation determined that Rohringer was the suspect committing the acts and that photo lineups were created and presented to the victim. Positive identification was made in both cases.

Police say that on March 2, a judge signed extraditable arrest warrants for Rohringer for three counts of indecent exposure and two counts of trespassing on school property.

Police say that Rohringer provided a full confession upon arrest and was remanded to Miami-Dade County Jail, awaiting extradition back to PBC Jail.

The allegations against Rohringer have not yet been proven in court.

According to CP24, Rohringer has since returned to Canada to continue to practice as a dentist at Trinity Dental Care in Brampton. He’s also a part-time comedian.

Police told CP24 they will be vigilant in the wake of the allegations.
