Segovia Coffee has a new home in downtown Brampton, setting up shop in what was once a Starbucks.
Now at 8 Queen St. East on the northeast side of the four corners, Segovia moved into the new location a few weeks ago and has at least one high-profile fan in the way of Brampton Mayor Patrick Brown.
“Best coffee in downtown Brampton, so if you’re in downtown Brampton try them out,” Brown said in a interview with insauga.com while sipping on a Segovia brew.
The new location was once one of the oldest Starbucks in Brampton which closed down last year, along with some 300 stores across Canada according to the Seattle-based company which said the store fell victim to changing customer habits.
Serving up java drinks made with green coffee from Nicaragua, Segovia’s beans come from a single-farm from the Matagalpa-Segovia corridor. Segovia also offers empanadas, sandwiches and delectable stuffed cookies.
The homegrown coffee shop offers free local delivery on minimum orders of $25.00, free shipping in Ontario with a minimum order of $50.00, as well as free shipping to the U.S. with a minimum order of $100.00
There are also pickup options available, and coffee lovers can order beans from Segovia or directly from its farm partners by calling 416-388-9146.
