Booze-fueled ‘mischief’ overnight leads to charges for pair from Brampton, police say

Three men including a pair from Brampton have been arrested on mischief and alcohol-related offences following an early morning commotion in Brampton on the weekend.
The ruckus happened shortly before 3 a.m. on Saturday when the OPP says officers were called to the area of Main Street and Owen Sound Street in Shelburne, approximately 65 kilometres north of Brampton.
Police say a witness saw three people “banging on windows and damaging construction signs” in the area.
A picture of the aftermath shared by investigators shows a large wooden construction sign that had been knocked over and smashed, as two plastic traffic bollards knocked on their sides.
Three suspects including a 24-year-old and a 29-year-old from Brampton were located and arrested.
The OPP says Amrat Buttar, 24, Gurveer Chohan, 29, both of Brampton, and Maihtaab Singh, 22, of Mono, have been charged with one count each of mischief – destroys or damages property.
