Homicide detectives are investigating after a man was found dead in a vehicle in Brampton early Friday morning.

Peel Regional Police say the call came in shortly before 1 a.m. about a “suspicious vehicle” in the area of St. Tropez Court and Millstone Drive in Brampton.

That’s when police say they found the body of an adult male, and a spokesperson for Peel Regional Paramedic Services said the man had been shot.

A family told CP24 that they found the vehicle running in the driveway of a home and called 911 when they discovered a man inside who “wasn’t responding.”

The man was pronounced dead at the scene, paramedics told INsauga.com.

Few other details about the incident have been released, but police say the death is believed to be an isolated incident and the PRP Homicide Bureau is investigating.

No suspect description has been released, but police are expected to make an update on Friday.
