Baby, child and mother dead after plunging over Niagara Falls

Police say a woman and her two children are dead after plunging over the U.S. side of Niagara Falls.
New York State police say the fall was intentional, but the circumstances surrounding it remain unclear.
According to a news release from police, officers were called to the scene of the incident, which occurred on or around Goat Island, on Oct. 28 around 9 p.m.
Chianti Means, 33, and her two children, Roman Rossman,9, and Mecca Means, five months old, crossed over the safety rail and went over the falls on Luna Island.
All three were residents of Niagara Falls, NY.
Canadian Niagara police told INsauga.com that while the service does not have any physical resources deployed at this time, a detective in its missing persons and unidentified remains department has/will be in contact with U.S. officials. The Niagara Parks Police Service said it has no comments on the U.S. investigation at this time.
U.S. police say search and rescue efforts were conducted with negative results and the investigation is ongoing.
