Update: 61-year-old pedestrian in Brampton struck by driver

Drivers in Brampton were advised to take alternative routes to avoid an intersection where a driver struck a 61-year-old man who was on foot on Friday night (Dec. 24).
At 8:31 p.m., Peel Regional Police received a report about a collision at Lormel Gate and Queen Mary Drive. The man needed a trip to hospital, where he is listed in stable condition. Peel police’s major collision bureau is now investigating the circumstances of the crash.
The driver remained on the scene with their car.
