An automated indoor golf facility is set to open in Mississauga later this week.

PACE of PLAY is a new elevated indoor golf facility located at 2110 Dundas Street East, Unit 5, which aims to “bring the outdoors indoors”.

The 5,000 feet facility, which will officially open its doors to the public on Nov. 17, will offer premium indoor golf 365 days a year.

Along with being fully automated, it will feature four open bays and two premium private bays that will all be equipped with the leading golf simulation technology Trackman, which includes club data, over 200-course venues and mini-games.

“We wanted to bring the outdoor golf experience, indoors, all year round. Design elements were inspired by the golf course from the trees, fescue, and bunkers, to the oceanside experience in the private bays,” said co-owner, JP Kim.

“We felt like this was a great opportunity to take the online, digital engagement we’ve built and bring it offline, into a real-life community experience,” said co-owner, Aash Nathwani.

Both Kim and Nathwani are the founders of Golfheadz, which is an Instagram account for golf enthusiasts that was started in 2016 in hopes of driving exposure to the game. Since then, it has amassed 200,000 followers.

PACE of PLAY has been teasing the official opening for several months now, with photos on their social media platforms including black and white photos and progress and construction updates.

Since then, members of the community who have been following their journey have been patiently waiting for the grand opening.

“Can’t wait to come check it out,” wrote a user on Instagram.

“The moment we’ve all been waiting for,” wrote another user.

Following the grand opening on Nov. 17, the public will be able to book their time slots online here.

Currently, there is only one location, however, they are looking to expand across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) in the future.
