August 15 Weather: It will be a hot, sunny day in southern Ontario

Another sunny, hot day is ahead for Mississauga and southern Ontario.

The wet conditions will hold off for one more day, says Environment Canada.

With rain arriving on Friday and expected to carry through the weekend, this will likely be the last day of the week to get out and do anything you need to do around the yard.

A high of 29 degrees Celsius is expected with a humidex of 32 degrees Celsius. The UV index will be 7 or high.

The clear skies will remain throughout the evening. An overnight low of 19 degrees Celsius is expected.

The days continue to grow shorter, as there will be another three minutes less of daylight time. Early risers will see the sun come up at 6:23 a.m., while the sun will set at 8:22 p.m. in the evening.

There will be a total of 13 hours and 59 minutes of daylight time.
