Aug. 22 Weather: Temperatures on the rise across southern Ontario

Things are heating back up in Mississauga and across southern Ontario.

Temperatures will begin to climb Thursday and throughout the rest of the week, says Environment Canada.

It will be another sunny start to the day, though the skies will become a mix of sun and cloud closer to noon. A high of 25 degrees Celsius is expected, through it will feel more like 27 degrees Celsius with the humidex.

The UV index will be 7 or high.

The skies will begin to clear late in the evening. An overnight low of 12 degrees Celsius is expected.

There will be a total of 13 hours and 33 minutes of daylight time as another three minutes gets shaved off.

The sun will rise a minute later than the day before at 6:31 a.m., but it will set two minutes earlier at 8:11 p.m.
