An Arnold Schwarzenegger series appears to be filming in Mississauga again.
People have spotted filming for FUBAR in the Meadowvale area of the city, according to posts on social media.
FUBAR is an action-comedy series — the first season was released on Netflix in 2023.
Schwarzenegger plays Luke Brunner, a CIA Operative who hides his career from his daughter but later learns his daughter Emma Brunner, played by Monica Barbaro, is also in the CIA. They are forced to work together as partners.
In late April and early May, the second season of the series was filming in Elora, a small town near Guelph.
Schwarzenegger was spotted in Elora but so far he doesn’t appear to be in Mississauga.
A post in the Meadowvale Mississauga Community Facebook Group indicates there is a production with the name “Oink” filming at Chuck E Cheese at 2945 Argentia Rd.
Oink is a decoy name for FUBAR, according to multiple reports.
One person posted that they spoke to the production crew and confirmed they are filming season two of FUBAR but they would be moving in a few days to another city.
Another post in the Mississauga sub-Reddit indicated FUBAR is filming in different locations in Meadowvale.
The film crew trailers are behind Cornerstone Church.
This filming marks a return to Mississauga.
In 2022, FUBAR filmed at several key locations in Mississauga and Oakville, including Sherwood Village (formerly the Sheridan Centre) and Colossus Greek Taverna. It was also partially filmed in Belgium in 2022.
