Police have laid a long list of charges against a pair of teenagers from Brampton after allegedly robbing and shooting up a jewellery store this week.

The hold-up happened shortly after 3:15 p.m. on Monday when the OPP says three suspects were seen walking into a jewellery store and firing a gun in downtown Collingwood, approximately 55 kilometres west of Barrie.

The SUV was later found abandoned in a field, and police say the vehicle had previously been reported stolen out of Toronto.

The OPP called in canine and tactical units as well as OPP Aviation Services to help track the suspects on foot. Three Police say all three suspects were arrested without incident and were held for bail hearings.

Police have charged a 17-year-old and a 16-year-old, both of Brampton, and a 17-year-old from Whitby with multiple charges including robbery using a firearm, possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, discharge a firearm into or at a place in a reckless manner, and disguise with intent.

The accused are still in police custody and cannot be identified under the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act, police said.
