Are LCBO deliveries in Ontario impacted by the Canada Post strike?

The Canada Post strike is nearing its third week, with millions of parcels currently undelivered.
Significant shopping days have come and gone, with Black Friday and Cyber Monday in rear view.
The busy Christmas shopping season is also now here.
For many, a bottle of wine or liquor might be a choice for a gift. Enjoying alcoholic beverages is also a common part of the holidays.
So, some may be wondering if deliveries from the LCBO are affected by the ongoing Canada Post strike.
Also, it’s important to note that as part of the new alcohol marketplace in Ontario convenience stores, additional grocery stores and big-box stores, the LCBO remains the provincial wholesaler.
INsauga.com contacted the Crown corporation to see if there are any disruptions and it appears that both individuals and businesses can still get booze delivered.
“LCBO does not currently use Canada Post to facilitate retail or wholesale deliveries,” the LCBO said in an email.
“Our customers’ orders are not impacted by any strike activity.”
The LCBO said it uses “multiple delivery carriers” to facilitate orders.
Still, the LCBO told customers they should get their shopping done ahead of time.
“We encourage customers to shop early for the best selection and their holiday favourites,” the LCBO said, noting customers can visit their website.
