Ambulance carrying a patient and vehicle collide near Brampton and Caledon border

An ambulance and vehicle collided on a snowy road near the Caledon and Brampton border yesterday.
The ambulance was carrying a patient when it collided with a vehicle on Heart Lake Road, north of Mayfield Road yesterday (Jan. 22) around 2:25 p.m., a spokesperson with Peel Regional Paramedic Services tells insauga.com.
The ambulance was carrying a patient and on the way to the hospital, the spokesperson said. But thankfully, no one was seriously hurt and the patient was transported to hospital.
There were minor injuries reported as a result of the crash, the spokesperson said.
A video from the scene shows the vehicle in the middle of the road and the ambulance in the ditch.
The ambulance was damaged and will require repairs.
The OPP said there are no charges in the crash and they considered it minor.
