It’s best not to gamble on your health, which is why OLG has announced it’s closing all casinos across the province in response to the COVID-19 outbreak.
OLG, working with its casino service providers, confirmed today that an orderly shutdown of all casinos in Ontario has begun, with the closure expected to be complete within roughly 24 hours.
“The health and safety of casino customers and employees is a priority for OLG and its service providers,” the agency said in a recent statement.
“OLG will provide an update on when the casinos will re-open, taking into account guidance from public health authorities. We look forward to welcoming back customers and employees at that time.”
