An Air Canada flight that was headed to Toronto Pearson Airport from Frankfurt, Germany on Thursday experienced a diversion.
Air Canada confirmed to INsauga.com that flight AC843 diverted “to attend to a passenger suffering from an in-flight medical emergency.”
FlightAware.com shows that the flight went to Edinburgh, Scotland.
It remained there for just under an hour and four minutes before departing again.
It landed at 10:57 p.m. at Pearson.
It’s not clear what the medical emergency was that the passenger suffered, or what their condition is.
Air Canada wouldn’t say, citing privacy reasons.
