Sabrina Kauldhar suspect killing spree niagara hamilton toronto ontario

The woman accused of murdering three people during a days-long killing spree that stretched from Toronto to Niagara Falls and Hamilton is expected to be in court today.

Sabrina Kauldhar was arrested earlier this month and charged with first-degree murder in the death of a 77-year old Hamilton man and second-degree murder in the death of a Toronto woman and a man in Niagara.

Kauldhar, 30, was arrested in Burlington and is scheduled to make an appearance at a mental health court in Toronto on Thursday.

Toronto Police say the first victim was found in Toronto on Oct. 1 at a home in the Keele Street and Dundas Street West area. Officers found the victim, a woman in her 60s who has not been identified, dead with visible trauma.

Twenty-four hours later, Niagara Regional Police responded to a disturbance call in Niagara Falls’ John Allan Park, about a 90-minute drive from the first scene. That’s where police found Lance Cunningham, 47, suffering from critical injuries. First responders attempted life-saving efforts, but declared Cunningham dead at the scene.

On Oct. 3, Hamilton Police were called to an apartment building at 209 McNab Street, where they found Mario Bilich, 77, suffering from stab wounds. Paramedics rushed Bilich to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Niagara Regional Police Chief Bill Fordy said earlier the killings match the definition of a serial killer.

Investigators believe Bilich and Cunningham were randomly targeted, while the Toronto victim was known to the suspect.

Niagara Falls Mayor Jim Diodati has shared a GoFundMe campaign on social media seeking to raise $15,000 for the family of Cunningham.

Detectives are also attempting to identify a woman who was observed on CCTV footage on Oct. 1 at the Giant Tiger located at 2025 Guelph Line in Burlington, buying clothing that Kauldhar had in her possession at the time of her arrest.
