A weather advisory is in effect for southern Ontario

A fog advisory is in effect for parts of southern Ontario this morning (Sept. 14)

Environment Canada warns of near-zero visibility due to dense fog moving inland from western Lake Ontario.

Visibility is expected to improve later today, but hazardous travel conditions remain.

The following areas are impacted:

  • Burlington
  • Oakville
  • Hamilton
  • Lincoln
  • Welland
  • St. Catharines
  • Cambridge
  • Pelham
  • Haldimand County
  • Thorold
  • Dundas, ON
  • Brantford

Drivers are urged to slow down, watch for brake lights and be ready to stop if visibility worsens.
