A Look at the Most Expensive (and Cheapest) Houses in Mississauga
Published December 6, 2018 at 8:45 pm
It’s no secret that it’s not easy to purchase a home in Mississauga.
Although recent data indicated that Mississauga is neither a buyers’ nor a sellers’ market, November’s market proved to be a tough one for those looking to purchase a home in Canada’s sixth largest city.
Real estate brokerage and website Zoocasa says that Mississauga is now a sellers’ market, with only 884 new listings—that’s 31 per cent fewer than last year. That means the market is much more competitive for those looking to a buy houses or condos. Zoocasa says that’s enough to eclipse a 24 per cent drop in sales, driving home prices up a strong 8.5 per cent, to an average of $732,771.
But while the market is tight right now, things can change–and there might be more sales activity in the new year.
For that reason, you might be curious about which houses sold for big bucks–and which ones were quite affordable–this past month in Mississauga.
