A global company founded in Korea and famous for its unique hotdogs is opening soon in Mississauga.
Arirang Hotdog, which serves corndogs on a stick and croquettes with several exotic dressings and flavours, will be opening inside Erin Mills Town Centre right next to the forthcoming Gong Cha.
Founded in Korea in 2014, the company has spread quickly with 500 locations around the world including China, Japan, Vietnam, Australia, Malaysia and the Philippines.
The first Canadian locations opened in 2021 in Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver and Calgary.
While most hot dog lovers might get by with just mustard, ketchup and relish, Arirang’s hot dogs are anything but ordinary. The restaurant elevates the experience with some pretty exciting toppings.
The basic coating is typically a corndog. The dressings and fillings include various types of cheese, poutine, beef, sausage, Cheetos, and chicken nuggets. Plus, there is a variety of sauces to choose from.
Besides the signage on the storefront’s exterior, no official grand opening date has been posted.
If you’re eager to try these trendy hot dogs, you can visit the nearest location at 252 Main St. E., in Milton.
