The beloved Sunday Antique Market is back in Mississauga this weekend

After a summer hiatus, one of Mississauga’s most popular shopping experiences, the Sunday Antique Market, is back this weekend for another day of rare and interesting finds.

Originally captivating shoppers for 31 years in Toronto, the beloved market continues to thrive at its new home in the historic Small Arms Inspection Building, located at 1352 Lakeshore Road East in Mississauga’s Lakeview community.

A shopping experience like nothing else

Step into a realm beyond the ordinary – an eclectic and dynamic marketplace where The Sunday Antique Market vendors stay ahead of the trends, tirelessly pursuing the hottest and most coveted items. Whether it be a beautiful piece of art, a collectible gem or a uniquely designed piece of mid-century modern, the original finds its home first at The Sunday Antique Market.

The anticipation starts the moment the doors open. With over 80 vendors from across Ontario and Quebec, the essence of The Sunday Antique Market lies in the vendors’ constant exploration – tapping into private sources across North America, navigating estate sales and uncovering hidden treasures at out-of-the-way auctions. From collectible ceramics and pottery to Victorian and vintage jewellery, rare prints and paintings – if it’s collectible and on-trend, The Sunday Antique Market vendors are the first ones to have it.

Regular and occasional visitors share a common pursuit: discovering something special. It could be a touch of nostalgia – a poetry book from their childhood or a distinctive statement piece like a vintage brooch or an eclectic retro vase. To the avant-garde and young, it signifies novelty and innovation. For the astute collector, it represents the discovery of a rare treasure. To the designer, it serves as creative inspiration.
