Police respond to person in crisis in Brampton

A man from Toronto faces a slew of charges, including attempted murder, months after a nightclub shooting in Mississauga.

Shots cracked the night near Mid Way Blvd. and Invader Cres. on August 27. The gunfire struck multiple people in the club. Following months of investigation, Peel Regional Police arrested a man during a raid on November 9.

The suspect, Hamsa Mohamed, 26 of Toronto, has been charged with two counts of attempted murder, firing a gun with intent, reckless;y firing a gun, possession of a gun, knowingly possessing a gun while unauthorized, careless use of a gun, possession of a prohibited device, and possession of crack cocaine.
